Controller shorted out?
I had a weathermatic 12 station controller that kept on blowing the fuse. I thought I traced the issue to a valve manifold that sprouted a leak getting all the wires wet(submerged) cleaned everything and dried it out. Plugged the transformer in and the fuse blew immediately and the controller seems like the board around the fuse connection is dark. Could I still have a short back at the control valve mannifold? Before I replace the controller with a new one how can I test to make sure I dont blow another fuse?
When you measured the resistances of the various zones with your multimeter, what did you get for results?
Thats my very next step. Didn't do it the first time because the leak and water were obvious.
