Using Drip line on a sloped area

I am working on side yard 8' wide 75' long. it has 2ft elevation change on 8ft width. I have used the 1/2" - 12in emiter with .09gpm. it was running down hill very fast.
Should I use .04 or .06 in this case. The soil is clay... it does not soak in much at all. . I am think .04 and let the zone run longer.
