One zone stays "on" after all scheduled watering is done
I have 3 zones in my backyard, all running on Champion anti-siphon valves. 1 of the 3 zones kept leaking water, and I didn't notice until hours later (I have it set to run really early in the morning). There are 6 sprinklers running off of that one valve - 1 of them was spraying water out at maybe 40% of what it normally does, the rest were just bubbling, and my yard was flooded. I unplugged the timer, but nothing changed, so I tightened the screw on the top of the valve to cut off the flow, and it stopped.
Can this be fixed without replacing the whole valve? Could it be the solenoid? I've never worked on valves before, so any feedback and advice will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
