Well Pressure Drops to zero when I turn on 1 Zone

Well Pressure Drops to zero when I turn on 1 Zone

I recently changed my well pump out. It was a 1/2hp and I put the same type in. My sprinker system which has 6 zones run perfectly. When I changed the pump zones 1,3-6 all run perfect. When zone 2 turns on my pressure drops to zero and my pump shuts off so the zone never comes on. I can hold the pressure switch to on and the pressure will build back up slowly, when it gets to 20psi I can let it go and the zone runs perfectly. Can you give me any suggestions?

Too much flow, or at least too much initial flow. Double check for leaks, and if your zone valve has a flow control, throttle it down.
