Turned up sprinkler system for Spring today, Zone 5 stays on.

I turned up my sprinkler system for Spring today, Zone 5 stays on. I have a master valve and solenoid that goes to two valve boxes on my property. Zone five is in the first vavle box. When I turn any zone on from the Rainbird controller, zone 5 comes on as well. When I turn the controller to the off position, zone 5 will shut off. How can I troubleshoot this problem properly? I have Googled for this problem, but have only come across similar problems. Thanks for any help.

The diaphragm in the valve for zone 5 is possibly bad or something is stuck in the valve. Either way, find the valve, take it apart, clean the insides, IF you find nothing in the valve you need to replace the diaphragm.
