zone changer

how far down the feed line can the zone changer be placed
i have two 60 ft runs too make only need two zones
can i put the zone control on the end line too save from laying 60 more feet of pipe from the pump
and just feed the other zone with 15 feet of line
have a 22feet well
1.5 horsepower pump
inch and quarter pipe from pump all the way too sprinkler heads
the zone changer will be a pressure changer
if i put it at the end of the first line which will be 60 feet long
will it work ???????
