Needs some advice from on what would be the best replacement rotors for "dirty" water. The Orbit ones from the big box store are horrible and only last a year or two before they stop turning. When the stop turning they make a clicking sound as if the gears are stripped--assumed this is wear from the dirty water??? Will the Hunter PGP or Rainbird 5004 last longer than the Orbit Voyager ones? Every year it seems like I am replacing around 5-10 of this suckers.

We are on a county wide irrigation system has great pressure but draws water from a canal via the Yakima River-- real dirty stuff. I have a older (Banjo) large filter 1.5" x 80 mesh to remove all sorts of gunk, but we still have to do a lot of manual cleaning for all the heads every year. Usually unscrewing the head 50+ heads and cleaning the individual head filters, etc....

Any suggestions on a better rotor head or even a better filtration system?
