Rainbird PEB valves weeping

I have a couple of Rainbird PEB 150 and 200 that are weeping. I have topped out the valves with all new parts after checking for cracks and other possible problems with the base of the valve. After turning the water back on, the valves are still weeping and one of them is even worse. In the past I have just cut out the bad valves and installed new ones. What help is there for me?

I ran across a 2" PEB a couple years ago that had a sever weep. More of a leak.
It turns out the valve body was cracked between the port threads and the seat.
Whoever installed the valves had used pipe dope instead of teflon tape. This may have cracked the valve.
This complex has had many valves crack since then. Some cracks are on the seat. All Rainbird PEB's.
Look for hairline cracks. Using a flashlight helps me see them.
