Hunter Pro-C Conventional vs. Pro-C Modular

I've seen the Hunter Pro-C recommended on the forum, but would like to know what the difference is between the two and which one is being recommended. I need a 12 station controller, so the modular version will be more expensive than the conventional to get 12 stations. I've skimmed through both manuals, but so far can't tell if there are additional features in the modular version. Any advice will be appreciated.

If you're never going to expand I'd go with the PCC. I installed a 12 station about a month ago. Here's the difference for me.

The location of the wire terminals. If your wires are a tad short the Conventional's terminals are at the bottom. The expandable Pro-C the wires run vertical and each wire will need to be a tad longer and longer.
