timer won't work

My sprinkler timer has just stopped working. We have checked all wiring, reset the time clock, and replaced the battery. We keep getting a read out saying (no a/c) could this mean a bad solenoid??? :)

The controller's not getting power.
Check the outlet. Plug something else into it and see if it works. Could be a GFI needs to be reset.
Could be the transformer.
