Water tie in??

I have a water line that runs through my house and exits out the back toward the backyard (where my sprinkler system will be). Can I attach the valves at this point?

what size pipe runs out to the back?

It's a 1 inch pipe.

if you have good pressure at that point you are good to go. A 1" line should be giving you plenty of GPM. Did you measure your pressure and volume?
