Service Hookup

Hey guys,

Quick question on hooking up to the water service. I have after my meter a garden hose hookup that the plumber nicely put there for some reason that I'm not sure. Can I use this to hook my system up? My copper pipe is 1 1/4 and so is my supply line to the valves.

Also one quick question about fittings. Home Depot jerks sold me 160psi Poly pipe and I didn't notice until I had it in the ground. I can't get any easy "saddles" or clamps to fit around the pipe (works fine for the 100psi) Any products out there that will work for me? I can bearly get the Fitting on the pipe even using a torch...
