Rain Bird Sprinkler wire repair

HELP ! We just got a new puppy and unfortunately,...he chewed at the wiring on the sprinkler valves. They are still salvageable but...how do I figure out what goes where? It has 3 pipes that have two black wires each on top of the valves...along with a: red, blue, white, green, yellow, orange wire. Where do these wires go?

One wire from each valve( doesnet matter which one) will tie all together along with your ground wire from your series of colored wires. Normally its your white wire. If you need to determine which one of the other colored wires are being used. It sound like you have 3 valves and 5 wires left.

Go to your controller and open up to the wiring. FIrst confirm that the ground connection is the white- If not whatever color is connected to your ground terminal then thats the one that will tie in with the forst wires we mentioned.

Then determine which colors are connected to zone terminals.

Go back to your valves and connect those colored wire one to each of the second wire on each valve. You can rearrange depending on what area you want to be what zone.

Good Luck!
