Adjustable Heads

In designing a new sprinkler system for our yard, I've got a area where I need heads with a 17' radius - almost too long for spray heads and too short for rotors. Plus, 2 need to be 110 and 130 degree arcs. I've had Toro adj arc spray heads in the past and they always seem to go out of adjmt. I'm kinda leaning towards the Toro multistream rotors as they have discs to control the spray pattern, so they shouldn't change. The remainder of the lawn will have rotors of some kind with a 27' arc( on a different valve ). Any suggestions?

I replaced some spray heads with the same Toro's and they worked great for a couple of weeks. Then they would stick and you would have to run out and tap the top to get them moving again. I took them apart and cleaned them and it didn't help. However, replacing them has. I'm using Rainbird 5000's and love them and will be changing the whole yard over next spring.

Try the RB 3500 rotors for this situation. The toros are really cool to see spray but pretty pricey if I recall. You could check out the new MP Rotator units also. Can't find my info on them right now try searching the web.

Toro 300 with 01 nozzle would work well. They are the same price as all the others.

Toro also makes the Mini 800 this would be the same as rb3500

hunter makes spray heads up to a 17' radius. or else go with hunter pgp rotarys and either put small nozzles in them and cut them way down or install low angle nozzles in them. they are the easiest nozzles to change. PROBLEM SOLVED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
