You should be okay with the Hunter valve, with the flow control turned down.

valve for soaker hose circuit?


I wish to install a new sprinkler circuit that consists of about 100 ft of soaker hose, for use in a vegetable garden. Poly pipe will lead from the valve to the start of the soaker hose.

I have a brand new Hunter HPV 101G valve that has a flow adjustment knob. Is this valve suitable for this application, or will I need a special low-flow valve like the RainBird Xerigation? My house has about 80psi static pressure.
