locating pipes without digging

Does anyone know how I might be able to locate where a pipe is going without digging, I found another pipe for another zone while installing a controller on my system, and put pressure and water to that pipe and get nothing coming out of the ground anywhere, the pump does not even kick on. Dont feel like digging for it but if i habe to i will just trying to find an easier way if there is one.

Irritrol wiring ?

I am not sure what you mean by pigtail, but yes this is an outdoor timer and this timer plugs into a socket and I imagine it could be hardwired into the pump or house but I figured why go through all that mess when there is a plug right there from previous owner and I know that plug works.

The pump goes on and off by the pressure switch and is regulated by the pressure in the bladder tank. I Dont know that much about the well because it was here when i got here, how would i tell if there is a backflow device and what exactly does it do. I think it is a shallow well and proboaly could be a little deeper, but has not given me any problems.

I dont think I need a relay just some valves and some wire // there is a relay on the pump already // I have 2 pumps one pickimg up from the well to the tank and the other pumps from the tank to the house. Irriagation is piped in between the 2 pumps so i could shut it down all together if i needed to.

TORO EL6+

I bought this house about a year ago and it appears it is set up with a Toro El6+ it is an old house so i can imagine the system is old also. I know nothing about irrigation systems and would love to get it working espicially with the lack of rain we have had around here, We live in Florda. Can anyone help me out with trying to figure out if the system i have is worth saving or would it be better to buy a new one and start over.
