I am looking for a low cost direct acting 3/4" valve. Do direct acting valves exist in plastic sprinkler valves? Its application is to snap water off within approx 1 second. A Dayton brass selenoid for about $100 would work fine although If there is anything out ther that less costly I,d check it out. I do realize water hammer exists with fast acting valves.
