Hunter PGP rotor not turn completely

Hi,
I have a Hunter PGP rotor head which just always got stuck on one side. When I manually turn it to complete the settings, it turns to the other side and back where it got stuck again. Do you know what causes this? Your help is greatly apprecitated.
Regards,
Jonathan

There's gears inside this sprinkler that are broken. Time to replace!

You actually can't replace the gear.. It's best to replace the entire sprinkler head
