Using Drip Line when bushes are not close together

Using Drip Line when bushes are not close together

I would prefer to use drip line around our larger bushes and trees. However, they are sometimes 10 or 20 feet apart. Does it make sense to use feeder line across those larger spaces and drip line just around the bush to not waste water?

Are you installing the drip with pre-installed emitters every 12" I think it is? I only ask that because of what you said about wasting water.
I would run the feeder tube as you've suggested.
