ADJUSTING PRESSURE SWITCH

I TRYING TO ADJUST THE PRESSURE SWITCH. IT HAS TO SCREWS, SHORT AND TALL. THE BACK YARD HAS FOUR SPRINKLERS AND WILL OT COVER THE ENTIRE YARD. THE FRONT HAS THREE AND HAS PROBLEMS COPVERING THE FRONT YARD. I REDUCED IT TO TWO HEADS AND IT COVERED THE WHOLE YARD. ANY HELP APPRECIATED. TKS[?]

1/2 horse myers pump. it was rebuild

Assuming the Myers pump came with a Square-D pressure switch, you'd look to turn the larger nut clockwise, to compress the larger of the two springs, to raise the pressure at which the pump cuts in. The smaller spring, can be compressed in the same way, to increase the pressure at which the pump cuts out. Adjust the cut-in first. You might not have to do anything with the cut-out adjustment.

Just a guess but I bet adjusting the pressure switch wont help. Tell me if I am wrong.
