rainbird or hunter heads

Has anybody heard anything bad about Hunter Rotors only watering the end of their arc and not having enough underspray to soak the grass underneath?

Nope. Still the world's best selling rotor the last time I checked. I do like the Rainbird RainCurtain Nozzles better than the ones on the PGP

Well there are two opposing sides of this....The Hunter PGP does water across the entire radius, and is better built, but the T-Bird rotors have the better nozzle but are not as well made. The ball is in your court......to tell you the truth you are dealing with two great rotors,,,,,choose the cheaper one in cost

Nope, the PGP is an awesome rotor that covers the entire
radius with water. The rainbird nozzles are a tad better but
the quality of the product isnt as good as the PGP. If you want
i would use Hunter PGP or Rainbird T-Bird Rotors. Both are fine
I'd chose the one thats cheaper!
