Switch Spray Heads for Rotors

I have a home in Florida with about 7/10's of an acre. There are 8 zones on the system and they are all pop up spray heads. I would like to switch to rotors because that is what I am used to and I think they give better coverage. Could I just change out the heads for rotors? Thank you for any help you can give me.
