pump control switch

I installed my system; however, the well pump turns off/on as the pressure drops. Is there a switch that will control the well pump so it will continually run as the irrigation system runs? I have been told it is better a well pump to run continually vs. off/on.

Thanks for the help.

First thing you do, is try to adjust the pressure switch to get constant running, and/or change nozzles in the rotor heads to bring system consumption in line with well performance. Change the pressure range to, say 46-65 or 50-70 psi, at the most, because the other components may not be rated for pressures above 75 psi.

Do these things first. It is almost always possible to bring a system and well into a state of cooperation.
