Control valve

I believe one of my Hunter PGV-151 valves was installed backward. Thinking I had debris in the valve, as advised by a replier in this forum, I removed the cover, only to find that the water shut off valve seems to be missing, which means it came apart and went down the main supply line. Any one had any experience with this problem? Thanks

Shut off valve

I'm the one who advised you there might be debris in the line. You stated the valve worked twice before you had troubles. Classic debris symptom. I didn't know a valve installed backwards could work twice then stop working. Go figure. I wont be able to help you on a missing shut off valve inside a Hunter valve. Never heard of that either.
