Flex PVC - spigot hook up

I ran a 1/2 flex pvc. I am now trying to hook it up to the spigot. I found a Rain Bird adapter kit that has a backflush preventer but i was trying to find something a little cheaper. Does anybody know what fittings i need?

You should check with your town's water department as to what the local code is. A cheap backflow preventer on a hose bib probably won't meet code in most locations.
