Hunter PGV Jar top vs. Hunter square top

Hunter PGV Jar top vs. Hunter square top

Does anyone know whether the Hunter PGV square top valve is more reliable at higher pressures than the Hunter PGV Jar top?

Also... Does the "flow control" option make the valves less reliable?
