manifold system

Just had the system installed and was working fine. Two days later all the valves came on at once. Turned everything off and the pump kept running and the sprinklers stayed up. I have three zones and thirteen heads, 5, 4, and 4. the well pump is 1hp. the only way to stop them was by turning off the pump. Thanks, marty

On pump-fed sprinkler systems, the valves should have flow controls for you to turn down for more reliable operation.

If you don't have filtration on the pump, you will get trash in the valves and they will stick open. I like to use the scrubber or self cleaning valves on wells and pumps. You may check the filtration. You will probably need to open a valve up and look at it to see if there is trash in it.
