Fertigator pulse injector cleaning directions

I am trying to get the fertigator to draw liquid out of source container into the system. How do you clean the pulse injector? How do you know when it is injecting your fertilizer into the system. My irrigation system, controller, heads, etc works well but I do not know how to keep the fertigator working.
