turning one zone on and they all go on for about 20 seconds Help!

turning one zone on and they all go on for about 20 seconds Help!

manually turn on one zone and they all go on for about 20 seconds. also at times 2 zones stay on for the cycle of time. any thoughts?

Adjust the flow controls on the valves - close them down until they affect performance, then back out half a turn or so. That will make a big difference, especially on systems fed from a pump.
