Absorber tower fire protection

Gents

NFPA 850 calls for provision of a fire protection system within an absorber during outages (Refer Section 7.6.5.3 of NFPA 850) i.e. when maintenance work is being undertaken. This fire protection can be the spray system designed for normal scrubber operation or a specially designed fire protection system (deluge water spray).

Does anyone have experience of providing temporary systems for use during an outage and if so what type of system, waterspray/ watermist etc and the means of fire detection and system actuation.
