Is fertigation worth it?

New to the forum. Thanks for the great advice!!! i have a 3/4+ acre lot planning irrigation system. i am considering an EZ-flo system, but i understand i have to have an RPZ backflow device. it seems these are pretty finicky with winterizing (michigander), startup, annual testing, and initial cost. i love the idea of continuously feeding my lawn in tiny amounts instead of seeing 80%+ waste. so to my question... with the size of my lot and the burden of the RPZ is it really worth it to get into fertigation? thanks in advance,
nate

strictly for the money, you apply materials with a spreader - no contest

Fertigation is about saving time.
