Using satellite imagery

I'm just starting to get into the sprinkler business and had a thought. When someone calls you, you usually have to get an address. Could you google their address using google maps and and print out their property from the satellite image to mark all your measurements? I just thought it would be easier than using the graph paper and drawing it out. But I guess it depends on trees in the yard. Doh!

Don't see why it wouldn't work. I've used the measurement tools on Google Earth to measure lots and start to formulate a zone count in my head before visiting the site. I know Google allows you to change the image based on time, so you might find one taken when the trees didn't have leaves.
