cant locate timer for irrigation system

just moved to my new home and cant locate my timer for my water system .I can see all the little tubes next to my plants but cant locate the timer and shut off any ideas.

Have you seen the water come on by itself?
Can you see wires or tubes at the valves?
Maybe there isn't a controller.
Maybe the valves are manual.
Maybe those tubes are hooked up to a faucet.
