End of line drain

I posted this in another area a couple days ago and received no replies yet ...

How is the HP1500 end-of-line drain installed? I have 1/2" poly tubing, clamped end for now - until I install the drain. The drain has two connections - one is barbed and the other is threaded. Do I connect the barbed end into my tubing and cap off the threaded opening? Does it matter how the drain is oriented (wicking pad up or down)?

Maybe no one here is using them. Ask the manufacturer, maybe.

Drain

Here I looked it up for you. We don't use drains where I live. I've never seen one installed.

If I can't fix it, it's broken!

Sorry i dint see your post till now. the drain you atre referring to is designed to be used where you slip te barbed end into your poly pipe and clamp it then screw your last rotor onto the threads so the drain is facing down.

i use them and they work good.
