Read my above post. I pressure tested the MP and didn't have a problem here, I am assuming you will be just fine during blow out winterizations.

I'm not familier with the MPR40-04-CV spray body. I used the Rainbird 1800 series bodies.

With the 1800s, the MP Rotator sits ALMOST flush with the top of the body. The collar of the MP Rotator that you turn to adjust the arc sits on top of the spray body. So there is somewhere between 1/8" and 1/4" of the MP Rotator sitting above the surface of the spray body.

I had about 10 of the mp3000's installed last fall and they were blownout for the winter and are working fine this year. Not sure about longterm but they definitly handled this winter and it was quite a winter up here (I live in Toronto)

Body for the MP Rotate

Hi for all,
Can anybody please tell me which body should be better foe MR Rotator: 1804 (RainBird) or PROS-04 (Hunter).
I plan to use about 40 MP Rotators in 3 zones (see: http://sprinklertalk.com/wbb/index.php?page=Thread&threadID=2940)
