This is the best method for connecting sprinkler heads to the pipe since it allows you to move the head to the exact depth and position very easily. This method also prevents pipe damage due to heavy objects such as cars and mowers running over the sprinkler heads.

I need to move a sprinkler head from about 2 feet from the pipe to about 7 feet from the pipe. Can I run 7' funny pipe from the pipe to the sprinkler head?

THe answer is maybe. the only way this would be advisable is if that head only requires about 1 gallon per min of flow. Is this a rotor or a spray head? Spray then full circ, 1/2, 1/4 ? if rotor who maKES the rotor and what # nozzle is in it?

It is a rotor and the arc will be set for a little more then 1/4 circle (but not quite 1/2). The rotor is Rainbird 42SA. The nozzle is the standard, default nozzle that comes with a new head.
